Are you working there sometimes? I am looking for a good place to work for a few hours in the evening : quiet, but still "warm" and friendly : any idea?
How many starbucks do you have to wade through to get there? Nothing beats a decent coffee shop... I don't hate starbucks with the same vigor that some do, but it seems like they're on diagonal corners in a lot of areas downtown there... Sheesh.
I see a lot of people very concentrated at Farley's (students, writers?, entrepreneurs?) The place is really friendly. One thing you may not like though, I don't think there is a dedicated wifi at Farley's. I still see a lot of people with laptops, but they might be working offline or using an open hotspot.
