I'm a strong believer of regular work outs, I do some pushups, but I'm far from doing 100 in a row, actually I didn't even try to do the maximum possible...

So, I did 50 for the initial test, and I think it will be tough to double that number...

  • first day: 10 - 10 - 8 - 6 and max: 51
  • second day: 12 - 12 - 10 - 10 and max: 52 (ok that's some progress)
  • third day: 15 - 13 - 10 - 10 and max: 57


I'm looking forward week 2!

I know a lot of people pushing up now and I think it's fun and a lot of people will be surprised by what they can achieve with regular, slow progressing work-out, especially if they continue after the 6 weeks program!

Unfortunately, this flickr slideshow doesn't reveal the description, but two interesting photos show two people more masochistic than the rest of the group (approx 40 people at the start and ~ 30 people at the end):

  • A lady riding with a big and heavy chain wrapped around her hips
  • A spanish-speaking guy who decided to join our groups blindly when he spotted us on Embarcadero (a flat part). This is the worse ride ever to join at random.

The seven "Hells" were: (I wonder where to find the official grades)

  1. Mt sutro (by Warren Drive)
  2. Mt Davidson (by Dallewood way)
  3. Twin Peaks (by north)
  4. Dolores Heights (21st from Dolores to  Noe st)
  5. Russian Hill (Jones st, 26% followed by 29% grade)
  6. Nob Hill (California st.)
  7. Pacific heights (Divisadero by North)

I was feeling a bit bored with my work out routine, this should help, and will be fun. I'm looking forward to have sore arms in the office like my friends :)
