After while, firefox on my mac starts to slow down, ok I usually have a lot of tabs opened, and I use heavy extensions like firebug, greasemonkey or NoScript...

Over time I've found that the best solution I have is to just force-quit firefox, aka:

killall -9 firefox-bin

The crash manager of firefox usually allows me to restore my previous session with all that valuable tabs saved. But not always, like two minutes ago :(

I don't think I've lost any very valuable data, thanks to backups.

But my mail setup is a mess now. truely.

here's a the current status of my mailbox. Actually it's only the work mailbox, since I've removed my personnal IMAP account for rebuilding purposes :

So, now I've dupplicated mailboxes (multiple depth), greyed out mailboxes (that I cannot change) and a lot of mailboxes that should be invisible (Sent Messages for instance) are now displayed.

This kind of things can happen when the Mailbox prefix is incorrectly set ... So I think the harddisk corrupted my mail settings (icons lost, preferences lost, "What's new in Mail.App 2.1" message), and the instable state in which the running Mail.app was corrupted mailbox in the IMAP servers (I have .INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.mod_perl  :(

Trying to fix it now...
